Help For Die-Off Symptoms

When you experience severe die-off symptoms or healing reactions, in order to alleviate them do the following as soon as possible:

  • Take all of these supplements at once (except for 2,000 mgs of vitamin C, which you continue to take every hour):
  1. 2 capsules of hydrochloric acid (preferably Betaine HCl with pepsin).


  2. 4,000 mgs vitamin C is taken immediately, and take 2,000 mgs every hour while you are awake until symptoms subside or until you reach bowel tolerance (loose stools). When you get loose stools and your symptoms still haven't subsided, cut back on the amount taken every hour by 250 mg.


  3. Vitamin B complex 100 mgs, in addition your daily amount.


  4. 500 mgs of niacin (if you can stand the flush; if you cannot stand the flush take at least 50 mgs every hour)


  5. 10,000 IU vitamin A.


  6. 400 IU vitamin D.
  • Drink clove, Pau D'Arco, or ginger tea (see the Recipe Files) — Drink 4 to 5 cups within 5-6 hours. They are powerful antioxidants and they will help your body detoxify.


  • Take baths with Epsom salts or 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide. Baths help draw toxins out through the skin which helps minimize symptoms. Also your body will absorb the magnesium sulphate from Epsom salts which will help soothe and relax aching muscles and joints. Epsom Salts Bath: Add two cups, or 500 grams, of Epsom salts, and soak for 15-20 minutes. Hydrogen Peroxide Bath: Use 1/2 cup of 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide in 1/2 a bathtub of very warm to hot water – as hot as you can stand it. Lay down, covering yourself with towels soaked in the tub, and which are kept warm by soaking them frequently. Soak in the tub until you sweat.


  • Ensure you are taking calcium and magnesium citrate supplements according to Supplements - Description & Doses, since they help aches and pains. You can also take 150 mg of magnesium citrate in addition to your daily dose until your symptoms are improved.

If the above treatment does not help within 2 days, do this 9–Day Program.

Other Simple Things to Help You

  1. For relaxation do this for 15 minutes every day. Lie on the floor with your feet on a chair so your thighs are at a right angle to the seat of the chair and the calves of your legs are lying across the seat of the chair. It is as simple as that.


  2. Do dry skin brushing, which will stimulate the liver and lymphatic system to dump their toxins, which also increases their ability to handle toxins – see Dry Skin Brushing.


  3. Thump your thymus to stimulate it. Using the knuckles of one hand, thump gently but firmly on the middle of your breastbone. Thump about 10 times in a row. Do this several times a day to stimulate and wake up your thymus, which is very important part of the immune system.
