Mucus [mucous] Colors and What They Mean

• Green Mucus – If it is toxic chemicals, the mucus is "nasty" and green, and it will taste and smell bad causing bad breath.
• Yellow, Brown, and Other Mucus Colors – Mucus can be many different colors, depending up the kind of toxins being flushed out.
• Clear Mucus – If your body is flushing out more harmless stuff like pollen or cat hair, then the mucus is clear.
