Hi Bee!
I saw you asked Debby and Sue about this and thought you might like to know. Prior to this program I added no salt to any foods and kept the total amount of sodium (occurring in foods I ate) to a maximum of 1,500mg per day (tracked on www.fitday.com), and even with medications I had high blood pressure.
I no longer track sodium content but consume 2 or more teaspoons of Celtic ocean sea salt daily, and as I stated in a previous message, my blood pressure is perfectly normal. Although some folks would say that was from weight loss, I attribute it to the sea salt and correct balance of minerals in my system. I had high blood pressure for years, even when I weighed less than I do now.
