Dietary journey: first the Standard American Diet, then vegetarian, then vegan, then slowly progressing to the WAP [Weston A. Price] way of eating, and now this. Has fewer muscle aches & joint stiffness, less light-headedness, less fatigue. [Re: acne] Since starting this [Bee's Candida Program], the red marks are going away and my blackheads are disappearing, too. My skin is moist but not oily. It's like a miracle to me!

Bee, you're so kind to share your knowledge and help newbies to this program. I just really want to thank you. I have been on a dietary journey of one kind or another my entire adult life (I'm 36) – first the Standard American Diet, then vegetarian, then vegan, then slowly progressing to the WAP way of eating, and now this.

I was such a bread/muffin/cookie person my whole life. Right up until I started this program I was eating multiple gluten-free cookies daily and just CRAVING sugar and grains. It was like I couldn't help myself. I knew sugar wasn't good but I really thought grains were healthy, so even when I tried cutting out sugar I always relapsed.

It's been almost three weeks since starting this program and I have had NO sugar except for one virgin strawberry margarita. My mom keeps making yummy gluten-free treats when we visit every week, and my son and sister ate some in front of me, and then I took the rest home and my DH and step-daughter ate the rest in front of me, and I did not crave any at all. It was chocolate cake! This is HUGE for me. I can't believe I don't miss sugar or grains at all.

This alone is enough to keep me going, but I have also been feeling better most of the time (fewer muscle aches & joint stiffness, less light-headedness, less fatigue). I'm getting so much done around the house now, even with my two-year old "helping."

One more thing - I've had acne since I was 10. That's 26 years of various states of bad skin. Even when my skin was looking okay I'd still have blackheads to cover up and the occasional pimple. Since starting this, the red marks are going away and my blackheads are disappearing, too. My skin is moist but not oily. It's like a miracle to me! For so long I've tried cutting out various things or taking certain supplements thinking that was the culprit. And of course, it was the things I was addicted to that was making it worse.

So thank you so much - even if for some reason I don't cure my candida (though I certainly intend to keep on going) I feel like I've found a very healthy way of eating that doesn't seem difficult at all.

Once I feel like I have a handle on this I plan on starting my son on this way of eating, too (though I've already made some changes), since I think he would definitely benefit as well.
