Success Story by Val, July 2006
After 6 months on Bee's Candida Program: Fibromyalgia and IBS gone, diabetes reversed, high blood pressure normal, arthritis pain gone, skin is beautiful, and lost 28 pounds. I've had the itch and pain of lichen sclerosis (L.S., a genital fungus) for 8 years. Now! Finally I'm seeing results with Bee's diet and program. It really does build the immune system and get rid of yeast. I have a prolapsed uterus, a rectocyle and cystocele. They seem to be reversing also with the diet and now the exercise program.

Hi Janelle, I've read what you wrote about having lichen sclerosis (L.S., a genital fungus). I can relate with you as I've had many of the same symptoms. I probably have L.S. also. I haven't been diagnosed with it, but have been to many doctors for years and found that whatever was given to me either made it worse or stopped working. I don't believe any doctors really know how to treat it.
I found a website about vulvodynia (vulvar pain). It was truly depressing and I felt hopeless reading about all the women suffering with it. So many are going from drug to drug, creams and ointments, that only work for a short time. No body seems to be making any headway there and no one seems to be open to the idea of candida and diet and natural therapies. I will not even post the website info, as I don't want to get anyone to feel so hopeless. Here there is hope.
I've had the itch and pain for 8 years. I tried everything. I'm a scrupulously clean person and have tried many, many things to manage this condition. I should list everything I've tried, and let others know what works and what doesn't.
Now! Finally I'm seeing results with Bee's diet and program. It really does build the immune system and get rid of yeast. But let me forewarn you that it is work and not easy. And it does get worse before it gets better. I can tell you that slowly everything wrong with my body started going away. My fibro--gone, IBS--gone, high blood pressure--normal, diabetes--reversed, cholesterol--normal, arthritis pains--gone, skin--beautiful, lost 28 pounds so far, more energetic, and
I could go on and on.
I've been on this diet 6 short months. I look back and think that as hard as it was, it was well worth it. I feel and look fantastic, so I've been told with many compliments. I'm 54 years old and feel like 30. I never expected to feel this wonderful at my age. I feel I've taken years off me and fat is gone. I went from size 12 to size 6/8.
The only thing that is slow to completely go away is the vaginal thing. But, I've heard that is what takes the longest to clear. Bee said so herself, and I've heard others say it also. I think that for every year you've had it, you count a month. So, I'm hoping that by 8 months into this diet it will be gone. Right now I think it's about 50-60% better.
So Janelle, please give this program a try and be very diligent. It is well worth it. You will heal from the inside out and that is why your tissues down below will take time to heal. As you are eliminating toxins out through your bottom, you will get a bad flare. It will turn red, blister, sting and burn, but please hang in there. It is only temporary. It means that you are healing. I know it won't be pleasant, but you know that something is happening when you see everything else clearing up.
Just do all the things that Bee recommends in the vaginal healing files. Epsom salt baths, sitz baths with baking soda (I had to do these twice a day), use lots of coconut oil. Some of the things I've discovered on my own that helps – mix coconut oil with a few drops of peppermint oil. That is refreshing and relieves pain.
Two things I've also discovered is that the sun can be healing to your bottom. If you can find a private place to sun yourself for even 10–15 minutes a day. I ordered a sperti-sun lamp and use that when I can't get in the sun. It really does heal fast, but if I don't keep this up it stays at about 50% better only.
See, I think that I may have the resistant form of candida glabrata that is hard to treat. But, I believe that the diet is really going to completely heal me in time. I went very slow in the beginning and did not add the antifungals till just a month or more ago.
So I was just doing the diet and coconut oil, skin brushing, occasional enema's, the epsom salt baths, the lemon salt water drink, egg drink, some garlic and lots of the fermented veggies and cabbage rejuvelac, and lots of coconut oil internally and externally.
Remember to go slow and not do everything at once. You need to get use to just the diet and you want to take your time so die–off won't be too unbearable. Slowly add in other things. Just remember – no dairy, no grains, no sugar. I feel the fermented veggies are one of the best things in our diet.
Now I'm at the part where I've added oil of oregano, Pau D'Arco tea and I also add cloves to my tea and more garlic. I've finally quit coffee and drink my tea, making it in the morning by the quart. That has made a big difference.
Another thing I feel good about is that I've added exercise to my regimen. I jump on my trampoline and feel that it is good for my vaginal tissues. I feel that it is cleaning my lymph system, giving me energy and helping the pain endorphins to kick in and fight this thing. I also do stretches, push ups, ball exercises, bike ride most days.
It has also had a tremendous effect on my pelvic muscles, as I have a prolapsed uterus, a rectocyle and cystocele. They seem to be reversing also with the diet and now the exercise program. You can see that my energy is increasing because of Bee's plan. A year ago, I could not exercise if I tried. I did not have the strength or energy or would be in excruciating pain trying. I've had no pain with my exercises, because of the diet.
The last piece of advice is I've read about EFT (check it out on Dr. Mercola's website), which is supposed to help heal candida. So I've recently bought the dvd's and plan to incorporate those into my program. I just can't get to this yet as we are soon leaving to drive across the country to visit my sons. So, I only have a couple of days to read and check in here before I leave.
So, good luck and remember you have lots of support here from Bee and everyone. Let me know how it goes and if you have questions.
