All Liquid and/or Pureed Foods Diet

When you are sick the body is not as capable of digesting foods properly so it is best to go on an all liquid and pureed foods diet, i.e. Bee's Raw Egg Drink, soup, bone broths, etc. Pureed foods can be any cooked meats and vegetables that are blended with water and made into a consistency like baby food.

Vitamin C is Most Important

Take megadoses of vitamin C, starting with 4,000 mg as soon as you realize you've got a sinus issues, cold, flu or a cough. Take 1,000 mg every hour to bowel tolerance (loose stools). When you get loose stools take a little less every hour, i.e. 200 mg, and so on.

Every time you get loose stools take less vitamin C per hour.

After you have improved do not go off high doses of vitamin C suddenly. Lower doses of vitamin C gradually, the same way you increased them.

Vitamin C Drops for the Sinuses & Nose

Make Your Own Sodium Ascorbate (Vitamin C) Solution

  1. Mix equal amounts of ascorbic acid crystals (vitamin C, available at the health store) and baking soda (not baking powder); mix them together very well.
  2. Put 3/4 of a teaspoon of that mixture into 1/2 cup of slightly warm non-chlorinated water. Mix it well.

Use one of these Methods

  • Put the sodium ascorbate (vitamin C) solution above in your nose using an eyedropper, small syringe, or a squeeze bottle with a tip. Trickle the solution into each nostril little by little (about 10 drops) while leaning your head back, or while lying down. Hold your opposite nostrile closed as you put in the drops. Repeat with the other side. If it runs into your throat that is okay too. Do this 4-5 times the first day; then do it 3 times a day.
  • Put the sodium ascorbate (vitamin C) solution in your nose with a cotton ball — Tear a cotton ball into two pieces that are small enough to fit into your nostrils. Soak the pieces thoroughly in the solution. Put a soaked cotton ball into each nostril and leave them in for about 5 to 10 minutes, allowing time for the nose to absorb the solution. Remove the cotton balls. Repeat 4-5 the first day; then do it 3 times a day.

Increase Detoxification & Immune Function

  1. Dry skin brushing should be done at least once a day, or rebound on a trampoline or just walking helps. These mild forms of exercise do not take away energy your body needs to heal itself, and they help the liver and adrenals detoxify.
  2. Thump your thymus to stimulate it. Using your knuckles thump gently but firmly on your middle of your breast bone. Thump about 10 times in a row. Do this several times a day to wake up your thymus since it is a very important part of the immune system.

Moisture in the Air You Breathe

It is extremely important that the air you breathe contains plenty of moisture. Do this by:

  • Using a good humidifier, vaporizer, or by boiling water on the stove.
  • Run your shower very hot so it fills your bathroom up with steam (do not burn yourself when you turn it off). Sit in the bathroom with the door closed for 15-20 minutes, and at a same time do deep breathing exercises.
