Acidity/Alkalinity Balancing [pH balancing]
Balancing acidity and
alkalinity in the body is a non-issue when it comes to health. In fact it has become a fad that is totally
unnecessary, and can in fact be harmful.
Dr. Weston Price points out that good health is more related to the
mineral activator content in nutrition and he states:
"It is my belief that much
harm has been done through the misconception that acidity and alkalinity were
something apart from minerals and other elements. Many food faddists have
undertaken to list foods on the basis of their acidity and alkalinity without
the apparent understanding of the disturbances that are produced by, for
example, condemning a food because it contains phosphoric acid, not appreciating
that phosphorus can only be acid until it is neutralized by combining with a
base." See Acidity & Alkalinity Balancing (pH) for Dr. Price's complete article and a summary of Michael J. Bookallil's (The University of Sydney) study/research on acidity/alkalinity that also debunks the theory.
Antibiotics, Medical
The fact is that many natural treatments are
much more effective and safer than medical antibiotics including coconut oil, garlic, oil of oregano, cloves
and clove oil, etc.
Bentonite Clay
See Bentonite Clay is Not Good to Use.
Boric Acid Treatments
The EPA and CDC warn of
Reproductive, Developmental, and Neurological Damage caused by use of boric
acid. It has many known health risks including, genital damage, brain damage,
anemia, infertility, birth defects, and death, and at the very least may dry
and irritate your skin and lungs. For
more information see Boric Acid.
Collodial Silver
See Colloidal Silver Dangers.
Colonics, Professional
Colonics, or enemas, done at
home by an individual are quite safe and beneficial because they are not
invasive, and only involve the large intestine.
However, professional colonics can be very invasive, often reaching into
the small intestines, which causes more damage than good.
Some professionals also recommend too many
colonics be done within a short amount of time, which interferes with the important functions of the large colon, i.e. balancing water and electrolytes
in the body, and the making of some B vitamins and vitamin K. Enemas should only be done 4 to 5 days apart, and they should not continued on a long-term basis.
Diatoms, Found in Supplements
Diatoms, which are mainly
composed of silica (glass), absorbs water, oils and
fats, and does a great deal of damage to the intestines. See Diatoms Contained in Syclovir.
Drugs & Over-the-Counter Medications
Drugs include all
psychiatric, all medical, all over-the-counter medications, and all street drugs. It also includes hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and birth control
hormones or pills. See Corruption & Fraud
Fasting
Fasting is intended to give the body a rest and/or to allow it to clear out toxins and wastes. However, while your body is fasting it is also not getting the nutrients it needs for healing and energy. It is more important to give the body what it needs to affect healing, allowing it to cleanse as it sees fit.
Every day between meals your body needs to fast so it can assimilate and utilize the nutrients without
having to direct its energies towards digesting more food. That is why snacking is not recommended.
Some people do a type of
fasting where they only consume the raw egg drink for a few days at a
time. That is not considered "true
fasting" and it wouldn't cause problems because you would be getting plenty of
nutrients and energy.
Fibre (fiber)
See Fibre in the Diet Theory Doesn't Help Digestion, as well as Psyllium is not Recommended & Why.
FOS & Inulin Prebiotics
Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and inulin
are types of fructo-polysaccharides, comprised of
(glucose-fructose) subunits. The only difference between FOS and inulin is polymer chain length. Inulin/FOS
also goes by the name of Neosugar, Alant Starch, Atlanta Starch, Alantin,
Dahlin, Helenin, and Diabetic
Sugar.
Inulin tastes sweet, cannot be digested by
humans, and is soluble (unlike cellulose). See Prebiotics FOS & Inulin Not Recommended.
Liver, Kidney, & Gallbladder Cleansing, Cleanses & Flushes
Cleansing and cleanses are not recommended at any point during the candida program. Such treatments include liver, kidney, gall bladder or bowel flushes or cleanses, except for self-administered Enemas.
Liver, kidney and gall bladder cleanses or flushes are dangerous because they dump too many toxins into the body at one time, and people who are sick are not able to handle it.
There have been cases where people have ended up with life
threatening conditions caused by such cleanses, or flushes, finding it necessary to be treated in
the emergency room.
Also, liver and gall bladder flushes can release liver and galls stones into the bile ducts which can block
and tear them, requiring emergency surgery.
The candida diet recommends high "good" saturated fats which are very
important for liver and gall bladder health.
Over time the diet will normalize the functions of the liver, gall bladder and other organs, and they will dissolve any stones that may be present. Good fats are the very best cleansers of the entire body, and they chelate out (get rid of) heavy metals.
All cleanses are a
combination of herbs or ingredients which most sick or unhealthy people cannot handle. It is not only because they cause too many toxins to be dumped into the system at one time, but also because the ingredients themselves are often too strong which can cause adverse reactions.
The candida diet, supplements
and other treatments recommended will do a good job of increasing digestion,
strengthening the walls of the intestines (mostly with good saturated fats),
increasing good motility of the intestines, cleansing the liver, adrenals
and gall bladder, increasing kidney function, etc. and will cleanse any area that requires it, even chelating out (getting rid of) heavy metals such as mercury, lead, and aluminum, etc.
Psyllium, Metamucil & Other Related Products
See Psyllium is not Recommended & Why.
Syclovir & Any Supplement Containing Diatoms
Diatoms, which are mainly
composed of silica (glass), absorbs water, oils and
fats, and does a great deal of damage to the intestines. See Diatoms Contained
in Syclovir.
Snacking & Eating More than 3 Meals Per Day
Your body only needs 3 square
meals per day, and some people do better only eating 2
meals per day. Snacking between meals or
eating more often is not healthy.
Your
body needs the time between meals to digest, absorb and utilize the nutrients without having its energies directed towards digesting more food. If you eat enough food at mealtime, two to three
times a day, it will sustain you until the next meal.

Too Much Water is Not Healthy!
Drinking too much water is just
as damaging to the body as drinking too little water. The reasons are explained in Water, How Much is Too Much?
