Asparagus with Coconut Oil

Makes:  3 servings


  • 12 - 18 fresh asparagus spears

  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped

  • 3 tablespoons unrefined coconut oil

  • sea salt and pepper, to taste


1)  Melt coconut oil in large skillet or frying pan.

2)  Add garlic and asparagus, and turn over spears until they are coated with coconut oil.

3)  Cover and simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes or until the asparagus is tender, stirring occasionally.
